A date for your diary…
Bradmore Annual Residents Meeting
Thursday 11th April 2019 at 7.00pm
in the Community Hall, Farmer Street
Alongside an update on last year’s meeting from your Parish Council, the topic of this year’s Annual Residents Meeting will be the Defibrillator and the Village Emergency Telephone System (V.E.T.S). All villagers are invited to attend, and refreshments will be served following the meeting, courtesy of the Bradmore Events Group.
At the beginning of 2014, a working group was formed to raise funds for the purchase of a defibrillator located in the telephone box on Main Street. Also, an emergency number system (V.E.T.S) was set up.
As this is of benefit to all villagers, we thought that the residents meeting on April 11th would be a good time to remind villagers about the use of the defibrillator and to refocus and discuss the merits of V.E.T.S. Five years since the launch is a long time. Refocus is the key word, we may all need a little help at some time in our lives.
To this end Martin Fagan from the Community Heartbeat Trust (CHT) will be attending the residents meeting. Please come along; if you have any questions about the system he will no doubt have the answers.
Also, it is anticipated that a talk will be given on ‘Falls Prevention’. (This is still to be confirmed).
The launch in 2014 was well attended and was seen as an asset within the community. So, we invite you along - come and help shape YOUR community.
